James has built an award-winning design-build firm as the Founder and CEO of Ramos Companies, grown one of the fastest-growing RE/MAX agencies in the country and is a licensed General Contractor.  He is an accomplished author, radio host and speaker. He is respected for his innovative views in the real estate and construction industries and has successfully developed multi-family projects throughout Tampa Bay.  James holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida and an MBA from Emory University.

Merrill is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has extensive experience in the real estate industry through her work as a tax consultant.  She has worked with high-net-worth individuals, emerging fund managers and sponsors, private family offices and business owners across the country within the real estate space and has a passion for helping clients maximize their tax saving strategies.  Merrill holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
